First, a warning: This isn't a full story, but a collection of random bits and pieces from the actual comics, put together as a sort of teaser. So it's less of a "sneak peak" (shouldn't that be "peek"?) and more like an extended ad.

What little content is shown is lackluster, both in quality and style. The jokes are popsicle-stick level quality at best, and the art is sloppy and unrefined. (The main character hears the name "Albrecht Durer" and thinks it's Fat Albert, because... they're both named Al?) It probably would have been better to learn a bit more about humor rather than just having the characters say foolish things while other characters laugh at them.

Most products that rely on anthropomorphic animals use the animals' characteristics for exaggeration - weasels are tall and skinny, badgers are stout and surly - but every animal in Sunnyville Stories is drawn with the same face and body shape. Only the shape of the ears gives any clue, and are often the only way to tell the characters apart! The linework is sloppy as well, with crosshatching and line weights applied thoughtlessly and backgrounds almost entirely missing. Crossmatching is supposed to suggest form and shadow, but mostly the artist just uses it as a poor shortcut for tones.

Most telling is that the artist has no problems with squashing and distorting his drawn panels to fit them where he needs on the page, not caring how unpleasant it is to view when distorted. When resizing work, the 1:1 scale should be kept, or it just ruins the lineweights and makes everything feel cramped.

Don't bother with this series. The creator didn't put a lot of effort into it.
