This ending was a surprise. I won't give it away. I was not sure how it would end but thought it may go a little different. I do wonder if the creator has any plans for another mini series. If not, I can live with this ending as well. I think the creator and team did a brilliant job and do hope they will be working together in the future. I would recommend the series.

Final Issue. I felt like it could keep going. Reading them back to back was fun and worth it. The writer Tabu did a wonderful job at tying up the loose ends of all the main characters. You wonder how such a positive 1st issue could turn out like this. Each panel was carefully done. The story at times didn't need words; as the pictures made it very clear. This was a strong mini series. While I feel that there could be another installment in the future; I am not sure if this was the creator Nate Wunderman's intention. If not, then we can be at ease that the main characters had a complete story line. The artist and colorist worked very well together. The creative team from Wunderman Comics put out a solid story.

No spoiler alerts. Ordering the bundle of 6 issues made this a better read. I was able to see the story from beginning to end. Pythagoras was definitely the backbone of the issue and did not disappoint. A good vampire story is always welcome. The writer Tabu clearly gave each character personality and an ending that was actually a surprise. It could have gone several ways and he picked a conclusion that was a surprise. Tabu continued to shine a sympathetic light on Pythagoras and have the reader connect with him.
The art and coloring were a bonus that had no shortcomings. I recommend this series. I wonder if there will ever be an addition to this or is it really over?
