SURVIVE.

Realms of Death is the fourth in a series of world resources for Arrowflight Second Editon.

Across the Southern Ocean lies a vast, ancient land full of mysterious cultures and untold danger.

Foreign sailors call this place “The Dark Lands”. The indigenous peoples call it “Fetak’Dal”. Countless unwary travelers have called it their grave.

Off its eastern shore lies Dara Tova, seat of power for a once-mighty montaka empire, and potential gateway to the Underworld.

Profiles of two exotic lands:

FETAK'DAL - The Dark Lands
a huge continent home to many tribes
and city-states

DARA TOVA - ancient home to a fallen empire

PLUS!

THE UNDERWORLD - why to go, how to get there,
creatures you’ll encounter, and how to get home again

Including population, culture,
economy, character backgrounds,
maps & region-specific details

(Full color softcover book or screen-formatted PDF)

Honestly, Brian, I'm really surprised that stuff slipped off the radar. We usually include printable maps on AF world books. Sorry it took this long, but they're here now.
Thanks for your patience and support!

I just got this today and I like what I see so far! Why is there no Table of contents?

Also, I noticed in the last page, the picture of your books..... When is Empires of Fire going to be released?

- Why is there no Table of contents?

Um...massive brain fart on our end? I don't know what else to say - even with three stages of editorial processes, sometimes even big things slip through the net.
The issue has been rectified, new files uploaded. You should receive a notification via DTRPG.

The POD version will take a little longer to update, since there's a mandatory proof order.

- When is Empires of Fire going to be released?

Excellent question, to which the only answer is: eventually. We're essentially a two-man operation (with a lot of freelance content creation). When budget and time align, we'll be able to put it on the actual schedule. Best guess... probably sometime in 2023.

Thanks Todd! I know your a 2 man operation, as I have played Arrowflight 1e for a long time. My groups favorite campaign. And my favorite setting. I am very excited for this supplement to blend it in with all the wild ideals and rumors of the Dark Lands, that I threw at my players during our 2 year campaign. My only player left from the original game I ran, is eager to play again, and the rest of my players have heard so much about our original campaign, that they are eager to play too.

I bought the Hardcover cover of this and an extra print of Arrowflight 2e for the table. Prepping for another grand adventure has begun!

Thanks for the quick reply and the game that you and Sam made happen so long ago, that I still love to play!

Is the PDF corrupted? There is a bunch of messed up looking monster art. For example the Ganjasa on page 65 has been partly whited out, the Celestial Companion only shows about half the creature and looks like a cutout from a ransom note, etc.

Thanks for the note! We were unable to duplicate what you're seeing, but it could be that the illustrations were flipped left/right during layout, and retained their original alpha channel during export. A new version with the alpha channel issue addressed is now available for download. You should receive a notification via DTRPG.

Cheers!

Thanks, that was totally it! Both the Ganjasa and Celestial Companion are now facing right in the corrected version instead of left in the old broken version.

For reference, I used Foxit Reader and PDF Architect on PC on the first version and both had the display issue.

Thanks a lot for the quick turn around, I'm quite impressed.

Absolutely! It would have been unacceptable to leave the file with that issue. Sorry for any inconvenience. We hope you enjoy the supplement!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
