I cannot possibly say enough good things about Pepper & Carrot. This is a visually beautiful comic, drawn entirely in the open source Krita software. It is also one of the few truly good quality "all ages" comics that I recommend to anyone I know who has children. Well written, interesting characters, fun stories, amazing artwork. What more do I need to say?

and i realy emjoyed to see the work amd sketches behing the creation of the cartoon. i like it for hes drawing amd story but even more more for what he does for the artist communauty with Krita and all kind of tutorial video. all free acces. defendly worth a hard copy. john

i have fellow for couple years this web comic from David Revoie. these print version are amasing. the draws are fantastic. great imaginative world. really recommande in hard cover, it comes with a book of the artwork behing the scene. David revoie also dedicated a lot of work to teach on youtub with open source program like Krita

Too many artists let their sketches and concept ideas lie fallow in their notebooks once the finished product is out in the world (assuming it gets to that point). This is unfortunate, as the twists, turns, and dead ends of a project can say a lot about the character thereof. So it is with The Art of Pepper&Carrot, as we see through character design what archetypes and personalities characters were curated to have or simply evolved into. So too with locations and magical creatures. All this is presented through well-picked font and graphic choices. I only wish there was yet more (and if you also feel that the details of the magical world of Hereva are fascinating, they can be perused at a community wiki).

The art is absolutely gorgeous. Seeing all the evolution in the lore as well as concept arts around Pepper and the supporting characters makes it a must-have for all fan of Pepper&Carrot.
