This is well illustrated with a good blend of action and wit. The world feels well-developed, the characters intriguing. It's not easy to bring something new to fantasy but this story (so far) succeeds, á la Tad Williams, Brandon Sanderson. Looking forward to what comes next!

I was really entertained and surprised by this. A great combination of sci-fi with plenty of good dialogue and character development (I actually understood all the little differences about the characters, hard to say with most comics). While the art was some kind of computer graphics, as long as the good story is there, the art was good and appropriate. A great little tale, and intriguing enough to make me look for issue #2. This is what I'm talking about when the author gives you a whole story with believable and interesting characters, with a great hook for more.
