e-Adventure Tiles: Coniferous Wilderness
by Dean R. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 04/30/2009 08:48:43

Very nice compendium to the deciduous forest tiles. Versatile and flexible. Much like the deciduous tiles, I wish the colors had been a bit darker. I would also like to see someone come out with a winter forest setting.

Nice system, very versatile, especially since it works perfectly with the coniferous forest tiles. I would have liked it better if the colors had been a bit darker.

e-Adventure Tiles: Caves - Wide & Narrow
by Dean R. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 04/30/2009 08:37:18

Much like the Caverns system, this is a nice, basic system. I like how the passageways vary in width, gives a greater sense of realism.

e-Adventure Tiles: Swamp Shoreline
by Game M. B. G. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 04/25/2009 18:33:24

This are good quality and useful for my game. I don't like them as much as the wilderness set I have. There is too much matching up with these. No all tiles go well together. Still the best buy out there in my opinion. If you need tilles to make a swamp get these.

e-Adventure Tiles: Deciduous Wilderness
by Game M. B. G. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 04/25/2009 18:25:42

I use RPtools Maptool when I DM. I use a second monitor and/or some players have a laptop and we network. These tiles (e-Adventure Tiles: Deciduous Wilderness) got the job done for me. I needed a way to map wooded areas and be able to do it on the fly or planned.

I need more stuff like this. Tiles for virtual table tops. Counters too.

Ptolus Adventure Maps: The Ghostly Minstrel
by Christopher H. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 04/25/2009 10:19:15

Miniatures-scale Ptlous Adventure Maps of prominent locations with Ptolus are also planned by SkeletonKey Games, and the first release was the Ghostly Minstrel, a tavern in the city. Unlike SKG’s e-Adventure Tiles, the Ptolus tiles are not modular; they must be assembled a certain way to create a unique location, but the cobblestones match the cobblestones in e-Adventure Tiles products, so some degree of mixing and matching is possible. Each of the three floors of the tavern is composed of eight tiles. As always with SkeletonKey miniatures-scale tile products, the artwork is excellent. The layout of the Ghostly Minstrel itself is logical, and there is plenty of storage—but a distinct lack of a privy.

Ptolus Deluxe City Map
by Christopher H. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 04/25/2009 10:18:07

The Ptolus Deluxe City Map from SkeletonKey Games is precisely what the name implies: an impressive map of the city of Ptolus. Actually, it’s a series of maps; there are actually six PDFs supplied with this product. One of the PDFs is a seventy-page map booklet, containing sixty-six separate maps designed for printing on regular letter-sized paper. You can piece these maps together to make an overall poster map of Ptolus, or use individual maps as appropriate. If you have access to a large-format printer (at least 23″ x 57″), you can use the four individual large-format files and save yourself some tape. The sixth PDF covers the whole city on a single page, and is intended for on-screen use. The amount of detail in these maps is stunning. Every building in the city seems to be represented on the maps. The beauty and detail of Ed Bourelle’s city map makes me eager to find out what’s inside.

e-Adventure Tiles: High Seas Warship
by Christopher H. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 04/25/2009 10:16:35

Ed takes the e-Adventure Tiles sailing with High Seas Warship, a set of a couple of dozen tiles that allow you to assemble—you guessed it—a large warship. The ship is basically 120′ long by 25′ wide (in game scale) and has four decks. The number of tiles in this set is a little bit misleading, in a way, because many of the tiles are identical to others except for the positioning of the cannons. As always with Ed, the set is well done. At the time I bought this product, I was about to embark on a city campaign, so I didn't use it right away. My current 4e campaign is a seafaring one, however, and the High Seas Warship set has already come in handy.

e-Adventure Tiles: Annual 1
by Christopher H. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 04/25/2009 10:15:24

If you’ve never taken a look at the e-Adventure Tiles series, download Annual 2—it’s a free product! You won’t be able to do much with Annual 2 on its own, as the product offers 32 bonus tiles that go with other sets in the series. Fantasy cartographer Ed Bourelle, who produces these lovely tiles, has also thrown in a complete mini-set of Adventure Town Canals as part of the Annual 2 bundle. So you get 32 bonus tiles plus 6 exclusive tiles for the price of, well, nothing! What a great deal! Perhaps my favorite of the bonus tiles is Hazards: Winter Slime #8, a tile that connects standard a dungeon passage with an icy hall, and the intersection is overrun with “winter slime.” Hazards: Scarlet Mold #26, a bonus tile for the “scarlet mold” set, features not only the eponymous mold but also a battered wooden bridge spanning an underground river. Dungeon Details 3 #28 is very attractive as well, extending the alchemist’s lab from that set. The others are as good as you’d expect, but not quite as exciting to my eye as these that I’ve mentioned.

e-Adventure Tiles: Flooded Caves Vol. 2
by Christopher H. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 04/25/2009 10:13:38

In an e-mail to SkeletonKey Games customers, RPG cartographer extraordinaire Ed Bourelle wrote that he was proud of the sense of motion in Flooded Caves Volume 2, the latest release in SkeletonKey Games’ e-Adventure Tiles series. The product absolutely justifies Ed’s pride. Of course, Flooded Caves Volume 2 integrates beautifully with SKG’s first Flooded Caves set and other e-Adventure Tiles. But Flooded Caves Volume 2 breaks new ground with the simple, creative way in which Ed uses jagged lines to show waterfall-type drops in the water’s elevation. You can see an example (posted with Ed's permission) on my Icosahedrophilia blog (http://d20.heardworld.com/?p=149). The 27 tiles included in this download make a great addition to any SKG tiles library.

e-Adventure Tiles: Annual 1
by Stephen R. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 04/17/2009 16:56:35

Never really looked at this company before, but the annual was free so I though once the heck and to be honest I am rather impressed. Although I make my own terrain I do like ground tiles for quick and easy gaming. These are up my street and I will be buying a pile.
