A noir retelling of the legend of Robin Hood, where no one is a "good guy" and the Sheriff of Nottingham is stuck in the middle of a lot of bad people's ambitions. Strong V for Vendetta vibes as well.

This starts off are a fairly traditional fantasy RPG setup (five adventurers of diverse talents hunting down a monster), but about halfway through there's a twist and a truckload of political intrigue gets introduced. An interesting introduction to the Battlecats world, even if the comic is a bit thin with lots of pages with only one or two panels.

A blending of tons of Victorian horror and Gothic fiction, along with a touch of Loki'a Time Variance Agency. In fact, the time travel elements were implied to be a big part of the story, but they only really matter in the very beginning and very end of this collection. Still, fans of the Castlevania series, Vampire Hunter D, and the Darkstalkers video games/comics will enjoy this.

(Bonus points for having Romani characters and never once using the word g*psy.)

One part D&D-style comic adventure, one part drama about a group of friends struggling to come to terms with the changes in their life. An excellent story!

A fun comic about the drama of a small pro wrestling promotion. A bit rushed near the end -- it probably needed one more issue -- but definitely a must-read for any wrestling fan.

Knights of the Golden Sun presents a compelling storyline set around 400 B.C. where God has abandoned his throne and left his archangels to endure and watch over humanity.

The storyline has a decent amount of drama, action and development in both story and characters with utterly beautiful artwork.

Utterly loved it, looking forward to reading #3.
