Have you checked your dumpster lately?

No Ones Ark tells a bizarro tale of a genetic misfit named Duggie. He is abandoned in an alley at birth and left to survive on garbage. Luckily he is saved from the garbage truck by a sleepy sculptor. For a while things are well, but all too soon flashing red lights instill a panic and put the alien toddler on the run.

This story is divided in two parts. Each has a distinctly different visual style. In the first, we witness Duggie's off-color origin depicted in a Saturday morning cartoon style. A pregnant 'wings' waitress on the first page definitely gets you chuckling and turning pages. The second part shifts to a painterly style as the tone becomes darker and we catch up with an adolescent Duggie attempting to eek out a life in the middle of nowhere.

This appears to be a teaser for a much larger eComic series. While the beginning of the satirical story embraces dark humor and the absurd, it has a lot of heart at the center!
