Now that the Reaper has been exposed, we get some back story on what Pythagoras has been doing all these years. Going back to issue 0; it makes sense why he chose to do what he did and become the Reaper. He never wanted to be a vampire. Pythagoras has a journey and it comes down to a plan. The plan is not completely told in this issue but I am sure the other vampires may not like it.

This issue is strong and defining. The writer Tabu reels us in. We feel how the writer gives emotional depth to each character as the story progresses. The art is clear and on point. This is a darker issue and the coloring sets the tone. You feel for these chracters because you know the intentions of each were nothing but good in the beginning.

Yes, The Reaper is Pythagoras. While we were left with a cliffhanger in Issue 0; the reader was to assume he died. He wanted everybody to think he was dead. We find out what Pythagoras has been up to all of these years. While he tried to bond with his new eternal life; there seemed to be challenges. He We see Pythagoras transform over the years and the path he chose. Ending Vampire Nation was apparent as the years went by. Tabu gives you answers and helps control the expectations a reader would expect or not expect. Stopping Medea and Sofia may have severe consequences but for Pythagoras; his mission is clear
