Super handy rules to expand the Wealth systemrules in the core book. This gives more options and detail to the Wealth Die system. Definitely worth the purchase!

Pretty good expansion of the default wealth system, which is woefully inadequate for many situations. Definitely worth the $1.99 if you are going to use the wealth system, but I chose not to. I play on Fantasy Grounds, which makes standard money tracking far easier than trying to teach people a wealth system.

As a GM I never liked the D&D feel of counting up every bit of treasure coin. Savage Worlds Wealth System is a great rule to still keep the interesting of fighting for money, without the numbers. However the rules are a bit short and are very abstract to put in place.

Expanded Wealth is a great addition to SWADE. Helps GMs and players to understand what can be bought, what can't, what is a good reward and what is a great one. Also the Lifestyle proposed here is a very nice addition to most settings. Your players can decide to use their treasure to raise their every day comfort.

The document is clear and well presented. Easy to read. Tables are clear. Good stuff!

In most of my games I love being able to abstract the wealth system rather than playing count the coins. This is a great addition to an already great idea.

One of my biggest annoyances when GMing is spending valuable game time on shopping and inventory. So it's no surprise that I'm a fan of the Wealth system in Savage Worlds. However, the core rules are very brief. This expansion to those rules is phenomenal, particularly for modern or futuristic settings. The inclusion of options for gambling, savings, and lifestyle make this a MUST HAVE for keeping your Savage Worlds game moving!

This is really useful and I use it in all my settings, can only recommend it really adds to the base wealth rules

This is a quite good article at expanding the simplified Wealth rules presented in SWADE, still making it "light" enough for the Fast! Furious! Fun! philosophy of Savage Worlds. I really like the concept of "savings" too, as it gives players something to "bank" for a big-ticket item later.

My only gripe - this is a minor one - is tying dollar amounts to a game statistic, especially in modern settings. In Fantasy or SciFi settings, the economy and the purchasing power of a Gold Coin or Intergalactic Credit is largely in the GM's hands, so that's not much of an issue. But $100 in 1891 buys you a lot more than $100 in 1991, and in turn $100 will get you even less today. But that's something any modern-era game suffers from.

Thank you for the glowing review! I thought a lot about how to implement the Penalty Table, and I settled on the two most common Starting Funds ($500 or $1,000), but I tried to draw a clear relationship between Starting Funds and penalties so in games with different levels of starting funds players can reasonably extrapolate an appropriate table. If you’re playing in a certain Weird West setting and want to use Wealth, for example, I’d suggest drastically lowering the tiers for penalties (maybe a –0 roll for purchases up to $25, –1 up to $50, etc.), as well as adjusting the Core Rules suggestion for how much you can purchase without a roll—maybe 50¢ or $1 x the character’s Wealth Die, rather than the usual $10 x Wealth. Just like anything to do with game economy, tweak prices for whatever you feel is appropriate for your game world! Hope that helps with your nitpick, and happy gaming! :)

Great little expansion of the SWADE Wealth rules - well-thought out and provides some good guidelines for GMs who want to use the abstract Wealth system but would like guidance beyond what the core rules provide. The "Lifestyle" rules for codifying how quickly the Wealth die returns to normal after a purchase or loss are particularly helpful. This is well worth the asking price for any GM who wants to use the Wealth system!
